Healthcare Design & Planning
- Michael has been working on healthcare projects since 1999 and joined VAMED group in 2008. He is experienced in the design and construction of hospitals, rehabilitation & elderly care facilities, such as Shenjing University Hospital, Shenyang (General 3A hospital, 2.000 beds), Hainan UNICARE International Hospital (Private Mother-Child hospital, 325 beds) and Reem Hospital Abu Dhabi (Private Mother-Child hospital, 220 beds). Due to his international work, he is familiar with German, British, and Chinese project cultures. He has learned to cooperate with Clients, developers, authorities, CSA/MEP engineers, healthcare operators, functional programmers, medical equipment planners and specialist consultants.
- Since 2019, Michael is focusing on project development, master planning and design studies. His strengths are flexible adaptation to project environments, efficient analysis of project & customer requirements, and in particular project design conception under consideration of economic and technical feasibility.
- Studied at the University of Applied Science of Bochum (Germany), Registered Architect at German Chamber of Architects, member of Chinese Hospital Association Architecture Branch, Certified DGNB Consultant (German of Sustainable Building Council), specialized in healthcare design & planning, various publications in Chinese engineering journals.
